My name is Dr. Wylie Goodman, and I’m a licensed clinical psychologist in New York City.

In my 17 years in practice, I’ve helped hundreds of people move past long-standing challenges to achieve their personal and professional goals.   In addition to seeing clients in person, I offer services worldwide via phone, video chat, and Skype.

My practice is called East-West Psychotherapy to reflect my interest in uniting Buddhist approaches, such as Constructive Living, Morita, Naikan, and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction with Western treatment models, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Focusing, and Positive Psychology.

I view therapy as a supportive coaching process through which clients learn to make and sustain positive, behavioral life changes.

The issues I treat most often include:

Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity
Depression and Dysthymia
Eating Disorders and Body Image
Adolescent Challenges
Partner Relationship Challenges

You can learn more about my approach in the pages that follow.
